In a week Mr. H and I will celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. We met, were engaged, and married in the course of just one year. I know stories like this can go either way.
As we were in the summer of 1995, the reception in my grandmother's garden in Rhode Island.
I was of the mind that 'when you know, you know' and Granny didn't believe in long engagements so we had her blessing. Lucky for us, our instincts were good and life together continues to be a great adventure - a lot of laughs, unimagined happiness and undiminished excitement about the future.

Not every path I've chosen has delivered a happy ending, but fortunately I have never had a problem admitting mistakes or making quick u-turns (both figurative and literal.) Take, for example, my experiment in blogging with Wordpress that began and ended in the course of just one week. As I said, 'when you know, you know' and before even attempting a post it became abundantly clear that I was on the wrong road. You may have noticed the blog in chaos during that time (apologies to everyone who received multiple false alarm emails,) but my tech fairy godmother, Shari at Little Blue Deer, has set everything right again and I am back in the safe haven of Blogger.
The only change going forward will be a new domain address: www.henhurstblog.com. I am not sure how this will affect Henhurst Interiors showing up in Google Reader so to be assured of delivery please subscribe. As always, thank you for following along and for your kind comments. Have a great weekend!
Link with love! I would be flattered to have you share my photos, but ask if you do pin or re-post an original image, please credit the photograph to Henhurst Interiors with a link back to this blog. My original photos and text are copyrighted. If it is not my photo please credit the original source which I will always indicate with a link. Many thanks!
